Terms & condition

 1.1 Prizequest is the promoter of the website and the raffling services.

1.2 When you use Prizequest services in any way, you must accept these terms and conditions and therefore be bound by them.

1.3 If you do not accept any or all of these provisions, you are advised not to partake in the promoter’s service offerings.

 

OUR SERVICES

2.0 Prizequest hosts skill-based competitions that allow users to enter. The winner is chosen at random from the total number of entries who guessed the correct answer. The winner will receive the prize in which they entered.

ELIGIBILITY

3.1 The promoter operates in accordance with UK law and only accepts participants from the United Kingdom. You must not enter if you are a resident of a jurisdiction that does not allow for participation in raffling events. The promoter will not be held liable for any unlawful entries.

3.2 The services are only available for entrants who are 18 or older.

3.3 If you are an employee, or connected in any way with the promoter, you are not entitled to use these services.

3.4 The Promoter reserves the right to deny or refuse an individual’s entry at its discretion if a violation of these terms is suspected.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

4.1 To participate in one of the promoter’s hosted competitions, you must be a registered Prizequest user or create an account during the checkout process. To register an account, you must provide details such as your name and contact address.

4.2 You are limited to only one registration per person. By creating an account and playing on Prizequest, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you are not in agreement with these terms, then do not attempt to enter any competitions.

4.3 Each competition will run for a specific timeframe and the opening and closing dates will be visible on the Website.

4.4 The Promoter reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates at their discretion. If any changes are in fact made, the new details will be communicated to users via the Website.

4.5 Each competition will have an allocation of entries and users will be informed of the maximum number of entries, on the competition event via the website. There is a specific limit on what (%) stake a user can have in any competition, in order to maintain a fair environment for players. This number will vary for each competition and is stated on all competition events hosted on the website.

4.6 To enter a competition:

(a) Locate and select a particular competition on our website

(b) Answer the skills-based question and select the ticket number you wish to enter with

(c) complete the checkout process and submit the online entry form; then

(d) complete the payment to receive your order confirmation.

4.7 The Promoter will send an email confirmation, informing you that your entry has been received along with your allocated ticket number(s).

4.8 By purchasing tickets and submitting a competition entry, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter and are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

REFUND POLICY

6.0 The promoter will not, under any circumstances, provide refunds of entry fees to any users. Please make sure to only enter competitions that you have an interest in.

DISQUALIFIED ENTRIES

8.0 The promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete; made by you on behalf of another person; or automatically generated by computer.

8.1 You will also be refused participation or void your entry if there is suspicion that you have breached these terms and conditions.

 

SELECTING A WINNER

9.1 The promoter will carry out a draw on the specified draw date to select a winner and will operate in a way that preserves the random nature of the drawing process. The promoter will operate within the specified competition run time but may extend the competition end date up to 3 times, at their discretion.

9.2 The promoter will utilize the services of RANDOM.ORG, in order to conduct a completely random selection. However, please be advised that the Promoter may conduct the process in any reasonable way and can change the drawing process at any time.

9.3 The result(s) of the draw is final.

PRIZES

10.1 You accept that the prize in a competition draw will be the item specified on the respective competition event page. At the promoter’s discretion, however, items may be substituted with a cash amount of 70% of ticket sales.

10.2 The promoter is not required to provide warranties for the prizes although all of our items are purchased with a receipt to prove legitimacy.

10.3 You accept that prizes do not include any payable duty or tax and that you will be responsible for the payment of all taxes and all other costs, including insurance, connected to the fulfillment of the prize.

10.4 You may not use Prizequest forums or social media groups to sell your prize to another user.

10.5 You may not negotiate your prize with the promoter.

WINNING A PRIZE

10.6 The promoter will attempt to personally contact winners as soon as possible after the draw, using the personal details provided by members at the point of registration.

10.7 Users must accept that the promoter will not be responsible for any inability to contact you (where you are a winner) as a result of inaccuracies, omissions, or errors in the contact details you have provided.

10.8 Inability to reach an original winner within 21 days of draw completion gives the promoter the right to rerun the draw and award the next runner-up.

10.9 In the instance of certain competition items, the promoter may require you to send a certified copy of your passport so that your age and identity can be confirmed before a prize is transferred to you.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

11.1 You accept that Prizequest is the owner of all materials made available through the service, including your entry and all accompanying materials.

11.2 You hereby assign to Prizequest all intellectual property rights in your entries with full title guarantee; and forego all moral rights, in and to that entry.

 

WARRANTIES

12.1 All Competition Prizes are posted in brand new condition in their original boxes or relevant packaging from the manufacturer.

12.2 We do not provide warranties unless stated on the receipt. All Proof of purchase will be provided where necessary.

12.3 Users accept that the promoter does not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free, or that it will be suitable or appropriate for your use.

12.4 You accept that the promoter will not be liable for any entrant’s inability to receive or use any prize.

12.5 The promoter will not be responsible for any damaged, delayed, or lost entries resulting from software or hardware failure or any other reason.

12.6 At no liability to you, the promoter reserves the right to delete any competition event from the website.

12.7 Users must acknowledge that the promoter is not answerable for any loss that any person may experience, including but not limited to the loss of profit, business, funds, or opportunities, except for liability for personal injury or death arising from carelessness or negligence on behalf of the promoter.

 

INDEMNITY

13.1 You agree to shield, indemnify and hold Prizequest innocent against any and all losses, hurts, claims, expenses, fees, and damages in relation to your use of the website.

 

GOVERNING LAW

14.1 These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
